We look after the animals, for that reason, we only use materials that ensure animal welfare and are respectful. No mulesing free and good maintenance conditions (Alpaca, LWG, Mohair, Baby Alpaca, RDS feather, Mulesing free Wool). Using certified wool as responsible verifies the welfare of animals throughout their lives and the lands where they graze. During the shearing process, the animal does not have to suffer damage, only the hair is removed (as when people cut their hair), however, making sure that it has the certificate or responsible manifesto provides a degree of in that this is so. Recycled material is one that is made from a material that has already had a life or use. These materials can be post-consumer (finished garments that are recycled) or pre-consumer (waste that is accumulated during production processes). The recycling process can be carried out by mechanical or chemical processes. We use regenerated materials that are obtained from the pulp of trees managed in a sustainable forest. (FSC Viscose, FSC Rayon, Lyocell, Tencel, Cupro).Our goal is to work with FSC certified fibers, from the acronym ‘Forest Stewardship Council’, it is an international non profit organization dedicated to promoting responsible forestry. By means of such a certificate, it is accredited that the forests from which the trees used to give rise to the pulp come, have complied with high environmental and social standards. Viscose certified with the FSC seal guarantees that it comes from sustainably managed forests, that is, studying the species and cutting down a certain number of trees, instead of doing it excessively. In this way, we guarantee the maintenance of the ecosystem and biodiversity. As for the quality and
characteristics of the fabrics, despite having the same composition, they are different, on the one hand, viscose is a very light fiber, silky and soft appearance.
On the other hand, rayon is more breathable. Both are very comfortable to wear.
We also do R&D in the processes and treatments that are carried out on garments before or after being made. With the aim of choosing those that consume less water, energy resources and natural resources, as well as those that contribute less to the emission of greenhouse gases (such as CO2). Therefore, we are committed to foying made of recycled materials, more efficient treatments. And above all, for accessories, quality leathers are treated so that they are as long-lived as possible and with colors that fit our needs. Good print or “Print free”, dyeing garments using the alternative printing process, helps us to save water, CO2 emissions and energy consumption. Also, we avoid the dyeing process respecting the natural color of wool. Chrome free (curtición minero) o Chemicals free (charolado con resina). Also, we use vegetable products such as bark, wood, leaves and roots, mostly from “Mimosa”, “Quebracho” or “Chestnut” (Castaño), which ensures that the leather is maintained over time. In that, raw material is subjected to the action of different chemical agents that interact with the collagen fibers to obtain a stable and durable leather.
